How We Serve

“Now to him who by his power working in us is able to do far beyond anything we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the Messianic Community and in the Messiah Yeshua from generation to generation forever. Amen.” (Rav Shaul’s prayer for the disciples of Yeshua, Ephesians 3: 20-21)

As a registered charity the aims and purposes of the BMJA are available for all to see. These are known as our Objects and are stated in our Constitution as: “To advance faith and belief in Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah, Saviour and Lord among Jewish believers in the United Kingdom,  and the relief of need among Messianic Jews through the provision of support and services”

The BMJA’s ministry supports Yeshua’s disciples, their fellow believers and families through spiritual and practical help.

Our Constitution goes on to state four ways we do this:

“in furtherance of this;

  1. To unite Messianic Jews in the United Kingdom in the bond of sympathy and prayer.
  2. To bear a united witness to Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah, Saviour and Lord.
  3. To maintain and extend the knowledge and practice of their faith.
  4. To help them and their families who may need assistance.”

This is why we recommend both Jewish and Gentile believers in Yeshua to be part of a congregation wherever possible.

This is why we include quotations and information from Yeshua’s disciples both here in the UK and in Israel.

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” Rav Shaul: First letter to Timothy chapter 2 verses 1 & 2

“From here we can see way across Tel Aviv. and from here we can pray for the Government, for the local leaders.” Avi, leader of The Dugit Centre, Tel Aviv.
